Welcome to Githelp, a service provided by Githelp AS (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our SaaS platform, Githelp (“Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are free not use the Platform

  1. Overview of the Platform

Githelp is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables companies to:

  • Provide support to their users

  • Manage support interactions through a CRM system

  • Charge and receive payments for support-related services

  • Leverage contributions from verified external experts

  • Manage and operate Support Level Agreements (SLAs) with clients


Githelp’s features are not limited to the above mentioned functionalities, but they cover the core concepts of the platform.

  1. Account Registration and Security

To use Githelp, users must in most contexts register and create an account. Users may log in with credentials of their choice. Upon registration, you may opt in to provide personal information, such as:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Username

  • Other data relevant to providing or receiving support


You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

As a user of support, you may have the possibility to request and consume support without registering any user account. This may be possible if you are requesting support through an SLA, and the organisation having the SLA has accepted that support can be requested by sharing onlythe organisation’s personal SLA ID.

  1. User Conduct

All users, including companies, support recipients/users, and external experts/helpers, agree to interact in a professional and respectful manner. You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications

  • Use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes

  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform or the data of other users


Githelp reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these standards.

  1. Support Interactions and External Experts/helpers

The Platform facilitates direct communication between support providers (including external experts/helpers) and recipients. Validated external experts may contribute to support efforts under the terms set by the company using Githelp.

All parties acknowledge that Githelp is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of support services rendered by third parties or external experts.

Information shared during support sessions is considered confidential and is only used for providing the requested service. All parties agree to keep information shared during support sessions confidential.

  1. Payment and Fees

Githelp enables companies to:

  • Offer support services for a fee

  • Receive and process payments via integrated payment systems


Githelp may charge service or transaction fees as disclosed within the Platform. All financial transactions are processed by third-party payment providers, and use of such services is subject to their terms and policies.

  1. Support Level Agreements (SLAs)

Githelp provides tools to define, manage, and operate SLAs between companies and their clients. While Githelp facilitates SLA management, the content and enforcement of SLAs are the sole responsibility of the involved parties.

  1. Data Privacy and Usage

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data collected may include, but is not limited to, profile information, support activity, and communication history.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data and comply with applicable data protection regulations.

  1. Platform Availability and Modifications

Githelp strives to provide continuous and secure access to the Platform. However, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.

We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or interruption of services.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and other materials on the Platform are the property of Githelp AS or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without written permission.

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.

You may also close your account at any time by contacting support.

  1. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Githelp is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Githelp AS does not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Githelp AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Trondheim Norway.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted on the Platform, with the updated date noted above, and an email going out to all registered accounts informing about what changes that have been updated. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
